Merrill’s Block is a warm and sheltered plot in the vineyard which was planted in 2002 with the GM2 clone of Pinot Blanc.
Fruit for this wine was hand harvested in April at around 8 tonnes per hectare.
A dry and delecate style of Pinot Blanc, the 2016 vintage displays pear, spice and citrus aromas followed by flavours of stone fruit. A delicate creamy-like texture is underpinned by mineral notes and refreshing acidity.

"Fresh, full-bodied wine, grown at Pisa and fermented in an even split of tanks and old oak casks. Dryish, with delicate, citrusy, appley, slightly spicy flavours, showing a touch of complexity, a hint of nectarines, balanced acidity and a lingering finish. Well worth cellaring."
